1 fifty-sixth yearThe fifty-sixth year of King Zhaoxiang of Qin, 251 BC.
2 intercalary後九月, "the later ninth month": the intercalary month, which the Qin calendar added at the end of the year after the ninth month. The Qin year began with the tenth month, so the January of the next notice falls earlier in the same year.
3 Zhao昭: King Zhaoxiang of Qin; the Basic Annals put his death in the autumn of the year.
